At this boutique animation and motion graphics firm specializing in videos, movie title animations, and animated TV commercials, I worked on the project AliceInChains.com. I guided the company through their first interactive project, mentoring the partners on best practices and the strengths and weaknesses of web technologies. I developed strategies leveraging open source technologies, created scope documents, deliverable documents, interactive and design schedules, and handled third-party resource procurement and management. My work involved PHP/HTML/AJAX scripting and WordPress implementation.

For this multi-disciplinary integrated media company developing large-scale websites for clients like Tommy Hilfiger, Gray Goose, and Tarsem, I managed and scheduled all work for the Digital Interactive Department. At this boutique technology shop specializing in managed email marketing deployments, I implemented departmental processes and procedures, utilizing Basecamp to manage workflow and milestones. I managed multiple projects simultaneously, reallocating developmental resources as needed. I provided creative direction, brand strategy, identity management, and was the main internal source for technical recommendations, information architecture, and project schedules. Hanft, Raboy & Partners – Digital Producer (September 2006 – April 2007)
For this advertising agency focusing on 360 campaigns, I scheduled, produced, and managed all work for the interactive design department, including web banner campaigns, websites, video shoots, microsites, and internal projects. I developed scopes of work, estimated costs and timing for large and small-scale projects.
The Bushwick Art Project and BAPLAB – Executive Director (April 2005 – April 2007)
As Founder and Executive Director of this bootstrapped 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to advancing electronic music and digital art, I launched Open Studios in Bushwick in 2005, putting Bushwick in the New York Times Real Estate section. I created and curated an annual festival for two years with a team of over 50 volunteers. I managed a team of 15+ individuals, overseeing production of websites, events, press materials, brand identity, event concepts and goals. I managed all on-site event aspects: sound, lighting, artist scheduling, bookings, and staff assignments. I created monthly/weekly plans, led PR and promotions strategy, and handled website design and development.

Before 2005, I worked as a freelance developer and technologist for Flavorpill, fixing bugs and adding functionality to their homegrown CMS. At the Academy of Management, I served as webmaster, project manager, web developer, and user support, handling responsibilities like third-party application integration, hardware deployment, website development, and security procedures. At Organic, Inc., during the first dotcom wave, I hand-coded HTML, JSP, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and IBM Websphere applications, designing efficient site architectures and modular functionality while advising on scheduling. Notable projects included developing Bloomingdale’s eCommerce website.
